YOUTH, STREET & GANG VIOLENCE PRESENTATIONS

Facilitating youth and street gang violence prevention workshops for the community is to educate, empower, and equip young individuals with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to resist gang involvement, address conflict peacefully, and make positive choices that contribute to a safer community. By providing these workshops, the aim is to prevent youth from becoming involved in gangs, reduce violence and crime related to gang activities, and promote peaceful conflict resolution strategies among the community members. Through engagement and collaboration with youth, families, schools, and community organizations, the goal is to foster a supportive environment that nurtures positive behaviors and values, ultimately creating a safer and healthier community for everyone

The mission of the workshop should focus on empowering youth to become positive agents of change in their communities by providing communities with skills and tools to effectively manage and resolve conflicts with young people in their communities. FROM INFERENCE TO RESILENCE

Taking students from inference to become resilient involves supporting them in developing the ability to move beyond making assumptions or drawing conclusions based on incomplete information towards building the capacity to adapt, bounce back from setbacks, and thrive in challenging situations. By introducing critical thinking skills, emotional intelligence, problem-solving abilities, and a growth mindset that will contribute to student resilience. By guiding students through this process, educators can empower students with the tools and mindset needed to work through the social, educational academic and life challenges with confidence.

 

STUDENT EMPOWERMENT ENGAGEMENT (SEE)

The Student Empowerment and Engagement training presentation will provide an environment that allows students to make choices regarding their education while guiding them through a process of accountability and reflection to foster academic growth and personal development.
